Our First Graduation

We attended our first of many graduation ceremonies to come for Caleb.  He graduated from preschool! True he will attend preschool again next year, but since he is moving from the Martin School (a traditional school) to Mackintosh Academy (an IB school for gifted children), the teachers at Martin School decided to include him in their graduation ceremony.

Caleb was so darling. He looked so small compared to the five year old children who were headed off to kindergarten.  His graduation robe and hat were so big they had to be taped up so he wouldn't trip.

Emory tried his very best to stay awake long enough to support his brother. He briefly opened his eyes and raised his arms to cheer (or stretch), "Yay Caleb!"

But the excitement quickly passed and he was fast asleep again...

We are so proud of Caleb. He is quite the little genius and next year will be full of new adventures and friends for him. We hope he enjoys his new school as much as he liked his time at Martin School.  One thing is for sure though...he sure makes an adorable graduate!

On A Sunday Afternoon

As anyone who has ever met Caleb knows, he LOVES all things automotive, so we thought it would be fun to take a trip to Georgetown to ride the train.  At first Caleb was scared and refused to look out of the window, but about halfway through the ride he warmed up and was bouncing all over the place.  The view was beautiful and the train ride through the mountains was the perfect way for our family to spend a lazy unday afternoon.

Emory slept through the entire ride.

Our Soul Babies

These boys are our life. They complete our family. Life is better with them in it.
We love you soul babies...

A Trip to Ikea

Today Lolli and mommy took Emory to the new Ikea to look for furniture for the boys' rooms. It was crowded, hot, and we were there for a really long time.  Emory did not enjoy the experience and let us know in a not so subtle way...
